My Story

My story starts back in 1987 at the ripe age of 21 when I completed my Reiki 1 training in Australia, my home country.  This placed me upon my path to becoming the therapist I am today.   Fast forward to 1996 and I began my studies in Clinical Aromatherapy, then Tui Na, Reflexology and Deep Tissue Massage and other bodywork modalities -  this enables me to create a truly bespoke experience for my clients.  I have also completed my Reiki Tutor certification. 

During my full time career as a therapist, I have enjoyed working in many and varied locations including 5* spas in London, in private practice, and 11 years renting a studio in central London.  I've met and helped people from all walks of life with issues ranging from minor physical aches and pains to long standing conditions, both physical and emotional

In 2007 I qualified as a Progressive Counsellor.  This added yet another dimension to my sessions and I have combined counselling with bodywork and as a stand alone therapy.

In 2008 my husband had a series of strokes, and my skills proved invaluable in helping with his rehabilitation and ongoing care.  I needed to take 5 years out to look after him until, sadly, it was necessary for him to enter a nursing home in 2013 as he then required a team of carers.

Fast forward to 2023.  I was told by a colleague of an innovative new therapy - TRTP™ The Richards Trauma Process: www.trtptherapy.com .  My intuition led me to follow this up and I signed up to the training, resulting in a qualification in 2024.

I am a member of CNHC, the independent regulator for complementary healthcare in the UK.  I am also fully insured with Balens the UK's top insurers for complementary health practitioners.
